15th National Joined-Up Justice Forum
In close collaboration with the Ethiopian justice sector, JFA-PFE facilitates a bi-annual gathering of high level Justice Sector leaders and their deputies to discuss on nationwide relevant issues. The 15th joined-up justice forum took place over two days in in Gondor (northern Ethiopia) in mid- April 2016. About 100 justice officials from across Ethiopia attended this forum.
The participants discussed general and specific challenges facing the justice system and sector. They collaboratively proposed solutions for the improvement of good governance, rule of law, human rights protection, and sustainability of peace such as establishing systematic complaint handling mechanisms.
