December 19 – 20, 2024 marked the highly anticipated 21st National Judicial and Justice Sector Joined-up Justice Forum in Arbaminch. This gathering represents a landmark occasion where we bring together key stakeholders from all corners of the justice system to collaborate, exchange insights, and chart a collective path forward. Our justice sector encompasses a diverse array of institutions, 18 Federal and Regional Justice Sector institutions. Those that took part in this forum include H.E. Tewodros Miheret, President of the Federal Supreme Court, H.E. Hana A/Selassie, Minister of the Ministry of Justice, H.E. Tsehye Weresa, South Ethiopia House Speaker, H.E. Abeba Embiale, Vice President of the Federal Supreme Court, Presidents of Federal and Regional Judicial Bodies, as well as Senior and High-ranking Officials of Justice Bodies.
The 21st National Joint Forum of Judicial and Justice Bodies aims to enhance collaboration between federal and regional judicial and justice institutions by addressing key justice issues, sharing best practices, and tackling challenges within the judiciary and justice sector. Additionally, the forum will approve a joint entrance document and select regions to serve as the executive for the next two years, setting the direction for future collaborative efforts.
